We also would like to take this opportunity to welcome another new member for the label staff. His name is R. Important Statement about BLAZING OBSCURITY RECS future endevours

I want to bring to our associates attention that the reason why I have not been able to send the stuff we agreed on several of my already setup trades is because my colleague on the label (LEONEL MORA / VICERAL VOMIT RECS) somewhat disappeared from the scene with no valid reason. Sadly, 95% of what was included in the SALE/TRADE list was in his hands. He just do not answer emails, phone calls or anything. His disloyal and careless attitude is affecting ME and the people that rely on us to spread their material in our area. I want to emphazise that I DO NOT CONSIDER HIM a part of BLAZING OBSCURITY RECS anymore. For those of you wondering what would happen with VICERAL VOMIT RECS I just have to say nor I know anything about its future nor I care at all.

Anyway, In order to honor the agreements we had I'm offering an updated distro list with stuff I have been able to quickly put together for all of you so we can re-arrange our previously set up trades.

Our planned COLD GRIM tape release is going slow but forward. It is going to be slightly delayed but will finally see the light of darkness soon.

COLD GRIM is a relatively young and talented local Black Metal band that has agreed to join forces with our label starting today!

Early 2008 (January 29th - February 12) they decided to materialize their bleak visions at AG studios; San Jose, Costa Rica and "When Desolation Turns Incessant" is the outcome of those sessions. They managed to record Intro + 5 songs that they define as "True Depressive Old School Black Metal" along the likes of early BURZUM, NARGAROTH, MOONBLOOD.

Their first release with us will be unleashed in the form of a DEMO containing the aforementioned aural attack plus pro-printed inlay and high quality tapes with stickers. As usual, it will be a limited edition of 150 hand-numbered copies.

The definitive release date is November 2008.

For any of you not aware of our activities, we are a COSTA RICA-based metal label specializing on TAPE releases of bands into death/black/thrash/doom/speed/heavy.

Now available our first release on BLAZING OBSCURITY RECS (click on flyer image for bigger size), one of the best kept gems of the Swedish underground that has been unburied from its dormant sleep. Almost 50 minutes of thrashy death/black art including their impossible to find demos plus unreleased tracks exclusive for this tape release. Highly Recommended if you are into old-DISECCTION (SWE), old-DISMEMBER (SWE) & CARDINAL SIN (SWE).
